About Debbie Millman

Debbie Millman has worked in the design business for more than 25 years. She is president of the design division at Sterling Brands, where she’s worked on the redesign of more than 300 global brands, and she believes that the condition of brands reflects the condition of our culture. Millman is president emeritus of the AIGA, a contributing editor at Print magazine, and co-founder and chair of the world’s first Masters in Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is the author of four books, including “Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits” (Allworth Press, 2011) and “Look Both Ways: Illustrated Essays on the Intersection of Life and Design” (HOW Books, 2009).
