is UX Director at Booz Allen Hamilton. She works in the Strategic Innovation Group, and has been conducting UX research and strategy and digital marketing for over a decade. Sarah is passionate about building human connections in order to design experiences that both engage and delight. She boasts an impressive track record in successful UX and digital branding projects for government and commercial clients, and specializes in time saving UX hacks adapted from design thinking, lean UX, lean startup and agile methodologies

Schade-BrittanySpeaker-Photo2015-SF-HIDC2.jpgBrittany Schade is an Assistant Professor of Interactive Design at Western Washington University where she teaches web, UX, interaction and graphic design courses. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of IXDA Seattle and consults as a product designer for tech start-ups. Brittany’s academic research focuses on the effects of digital communication on emotional authenticity. Her work has received several awards and has been recognized internationally in print and online publications.
