The prospect calls out of the blue and when you answer, launches into a 15-minute explanation of their project. It’s an interesting one, with a robust budget that would be good for your portfolio. But the deadline is unrealistic, their tone borders on bullying, they won’t take time to answer your questions – and they need a proposal from you by the end of the day.
