A cheetah can represent many things: speed, focus, power and freedom. Siegel+Gale helped leading mobile Internet company Cheetah Mobile Inc. embrace its name with a cool logo design and visual identity that represent the company’s bold and ongoing journey into internet and mobile experience.
“We were thrilled to work with Cheetah Mobile to create a new identity as part of their global expansion,” says Eric Lin, executive director at Pacific Rim Siegel+Gale.
Cheetah Mobile, which has a whopping 362 million monthly worldwide active users as of March 2014, is the top mobile app provider in both Google Play and the Apple App Store, and is also the second largest Internet security software provider in China.
Siegel+Gale worked between their offices in both China and the U.S. to create the new visual identity and logo, which very much shows off their flair for stylish simplicity: One look at this visual identity, and you can just imagine the smooth user experience you’ll get with Cheetah Mobile.
“The abbreviation of Cheetah Mobile to CM is a fresh, distinct word mark and communicates the energy behind the brand,” says Matthias Mencke, group creative director at Siegel+Gale.
The bright color and bold impact of the logo no doubt show that Cheetah Mobile is ready to take things to the next level with their unique global perspective and influence.
So what does Cheetah Mobile think of its new visual identity?
