I am just looking over the registration list for the 2011 Creative Freelancer Conference (happening June 23-24 in Chicago) and am blown away by the response so far!
We’ve exceeded our goals and already have almost as many people signed up as actually attended last year! Thanks to everyone who has spread the word, endorsed the event and especially to those of you I’ll see in a very short time.
Clearly something’s working. It’s hard to say what exactly is working…and that’s the thing with marketing. You have to try a whole bunch of different tools and techniques to see results. And even then sometimes you can’t quite tell what is having the most impact — because it’s usually everything together.
That’s why one measly marketing effort by itself doesn’t work!
