15 Awesome Examples of Contact Form Designs

Contact forms are a fundamental part of practically every website. It’s not glamorous in terms of design work, but it’s definitely critical. For many companies, the contact form is a primary way to convert a casual visitor into an engaged client.

Despite its crucial status, the contact form is often omitted from the design process and simply built by the developers. Keeping that in mind, the collection of sites presented here is all the more refreshing. The sites not only have functional contact forms, but they’re also beautiful designed and wonderfully integrated.

But there’s more to designing a great contact form then just making it match your site. The 14 examples I chose are all supported by three key elements:

  1. Design integration: The forms match the style and appearance of the site you find them on. Forms are somewhat notorious for being a pain to style, so rendering them so perfectly is no small chore. Beyond this, each one is set up to be easy to use and simple to understand. The forms don’t rely on gimmicks; they’re totally straightforward.
  2. User guidance: Along with many of the examples below, I included screenshots of the error message a user gets for invalid input. Helping users fill out the form properly improves the chances that they’ll submit it with valid data. I think putting basic guidelines on a form reduces the amount of junk (ever so slightly) by requiring people to take the time to complete it properly.
  3. Confirmation messages: How these forms show you completed the transaction vary from bold statements to simple text confirmations. The point is just to make sure users know the message got through. You don’t want ato leave users wondering if this critical step worked; they need to know you got the message, that you care about it, and that something will happen as a result.

Let’s dig into the 14 examples of contact forms for some great inspiration.
