MSG MediaWhen MSG Media, the sports, entertainment and media arm of Madison Square Garden, renovated their corporate offices, they hired Poulin + Morris to create inspiring environmental graphics to bring the energy of live sporting events into the workspace. “The concept behind the design was to re-create iconic and meaningful moments from Madison Square Garden’s rich history, immersing staff and visitors alike in the passion, performance and perspective of the venue, its offerings and audiences,” says design director Douglas Morris.

The design team used large-scale imagery, bold typography and vivid colors to capture those meaningful moments. The images are layered to create a sense of movement, while the type captures historical quotes from fans, players and news media, such as this one from former hockey player Mark Messier: “You can feel the energy the minute you step in the building. It is, without a doubt, the world’s most famous arena.”
