ICYMI: HOW recently announced the winners of the 2016 In-House Design Awards. All of these winners will be featured in the Winter 2016 issue of HOW magazine, which you can find at Barnes & Noble Dec. 13. (Even better, subscribe today to be the first to see the beautiful printed issue in your mailbox in November!)
In the days leading up to the release of the printed issue, we’re excited to celebrate some of the winners online. Today we take a closer look at award-winning work from the exhibitions department at the American Museum of Natural History, one of the world’s preeminent scientific and cultural institutions. According to the museum’s website, it’s celebrated for its exhibitions and scientific collections, “which serve as a field guide to the entire planet and present a panorama of the world’s cultures.”
What we love most about their In-House Design Awards–winning entry “The Secret World Inside You” is how the creatives show us just how powerful design can be in tackling sensitive—and sometimes “yucky”—topics.
