In my Site of the Day reviews, I’ve been commenting lately on the prevalence of storytelling as a creative and conceptual approach. This narrative approach is particularly appropriate for one-page websites.
In this example of great website design, we see that the entire experience is tightly controlled; the story unfolds as a user scrolls through the site. The user can still skip around using the navigation, but they still see the other content scroll by. In this way, users still get a hint at the other content in a way a multi-page websites cannot deliver. Plus this site features some beautiful type, so it’s kind of an easy one to love.
