This is by far the coolest thing I’ve seen…EVER. It’s the brainchild of ANAR (Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk Foundation), a Spanish group who did more than just bring awareness to child abuse. It researched ways to reach children without a potential aggressor knowing and tapped into a 70 year-old technology called lenticular printing. Much like 3-D, lenticular technology uses layers that can only be seen from a specific angle – think novelty items that, when turned, appear to move (winking, walking, etc.)
ANAR’s message can only be seen by children under 10. Based on various angles, the child in the poster appears with bruises to children with a message “if somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you” next to a special phone number.
Maybe we’re discarding technology too fast. Judge for yourself.
