Agreed, for the price of a three or four of soft drinks per month you can get a decent web hosting package for a low-traffic website. And it will come complete with the ability to link to it from a real domain, no advertising, cPanel, php, email accounts, FTP, mySQL databases and a bunch of other goodies that you'll likely never need. Unless you can't part with pocket change once a month, skip looking for the free hosting solutions and get a spot for an actual website. A simple Google search for "website hosting" will turn up dozens of them.
