As mentioned, you can save it as a PDF for your client to use, but what is your client using the file for?
If it's for use in Microsoft applications, and they don't really need a whole lot of scalability, but do need transparency, then export as a PNG (but not as a Microsoft PNG which downsizes the quality/resolution).
If they can use an EPS file format, then you can always save a special version for them, where you've put everything on one layer, merged whatever shapes you can and lock the layer etc.
>>How do you send the client a vector logo? When I save my logo as EPS, it is still in a thousand pieces.<<
Something just pinged in my brain... what program are you using to create your logo? what is the native file format, if not an EPS? why is is "in a thousand pieces"?
