the jones - that's a great poster!

how did you get your church to agree to let you do a poster?

I love my church but like many churches they have a bad design style. I would like to approach them on the idea of being their designer for bulletins and any event programs and such. Any hints on how to approach them would be awesome.

I dont have that problem, they are always approaching me....once they know you can do it, they don't hesitate in asking. I enjoy it though!

nice use of two colors.

how did you do the scrolly-deco borders?

i like how spare they are. that would definitely get my attention among a bunch of band posters.

nice work.

thanks Martin, as for the frames, i bought them on a clip-art site. i searched and searched through dover books and everything, but came up with nothing. i finally found this and bought it.

Ok, so I'm a few days late on this, but I couldn't help mentioning I have one of their CD's (Catch for Us the Foxes). Didn't think I would ever read about them on here. Love the poster by the way; your artwork suits them well.

coming in late…but, I don't like this. I freakin´ love it. nice use of two colorsand simple yet effective imagery. Everything a poster should be.
