Critique Etiquette

Postby Jessie » June 4th, 2009, 5:55 am

A few guidelines for posting in the Critique section:

• If you want constructive criticism of a concept, finished design or work-in-progress, post it here.
• If you'd rather post a project without receiving feedback, post it in Gallery.
• If you're posting work for critique, provide background info (class, ***, client, objective, audience, etc.) to help your peers evaluate it objectively.
• Expect honest, even blunt, commentary. Be professional in your response.
• If you're posting a critique of someone's work, be respectful.
• Provide constructive feedback. "It sucks" is not appropriate-offer meaningful comments about the work.
• Uploading images: Maximum file size is 250k; JPG and GIF formats are supported.
• Long links will break the forum framework; if you are posting a long URL, either use www.tinyurl.com to shrink it down, or use the link function built into the message editor to make any word an html hot-link.
