Caffeine for the Creative Mind Exercise #1

Postby Inspired! » April 10th, 2011, 4:36 pm

You got the book? Please join me in some creative fun.

Every Saturday I'm going to try and post my take on an exercise from the book Caffeine for the Creative Mind.

Starting now I have until next Saturday (April 17th) to post the first exercise (on page 20) Pimp My Red Flyer.

The Sunday after I'll start on the next exercise. I'm giving myself a full week to accomplish each exercise.

I'm a day early.

Here's my version of the first Caffeine for the Creative Mind exercise "Pimp My Red Flyer."

Image

I used separate images:
[*]Radio Red Flyer Wagon (cut out and had to move the handle as well as edit parts of the wagon)
[*]Tiki Bar (cut out, enlarged and changed the perspective)
[*]Bottles of Booze (cut out and changed the perspective to fit in the Tiki Bar)
[*]Bowl of Tropical Fruit (cut out and darkened the bowl and changed the perspective)
[*]Tropical drinks with flowers (cut out and cleaned up)
[*]Tropical background image (enlarged, added shadow under Red Flyer)

I think this is a great idea to turn it into a sort of online game it sort of makes you accountable in actually doing the excercises.
Well done!
