What is your in-house department name?

We are trying to re-brand our internal design team. Currently we are called "Creative Services". I don't like the "Services" part so we are trying to come up with another name. Wondering what other teams call themselves.

It's an internal design team, so the the only people calling you this name will be in the company (not customer-facing)? How much re-branding are you talking about and how big is your company..?

I'm technically in the Marketing Department but I guess if my team grew, we'd call it the Creative Department....

Yes, we are an internal design team, but we also work with our outside agencies. Ad agency, DM agency and Interactive agency. So we don't want to just be "Creative Department". We are looking for something more interesting.

I'm in the "Marketing Dept." also. For a creative lot, I don't think our respective depts. are allowed a lot of creative naming.

If I were able to brand my dept however, I'd think of it as a separate entity rather than a dept. Like; "Razzle Dazzle House, a division of Corpico Enterprises" with our own logo and everything. *fictitious co and would give more than 45 seconds thought to the name tho! lol

Your department's name "Creative Services" is at least better than ours-- Publishing Services! I've always hated the "services" part as well. Before that, we were called "Production" which a lot of people still call us (a team of 10).

Hi, i should have read some of the threads first, but i just asked the same question today! Whoops. We are thinking about creative services as a name as well. Right now we are "Communications Department". I was thinking about possible options like: Creative Solutions Team, Creative Solutions, Problem Solvers(a bit of a stretch probably), Creative Resources, Words & Images.
