Hyatt 6/23-6/27. Is taxi the easiest way to travel from the airport?

That's a good question. I haven't even thought about transportation from the airport to the hotel yet. I'm arriving at Midway around 11:20Am on the 22nd. If anyone wants to share a cab, let me know!

A cab is probably the most direct route. You can take the train from O'Hare to downtown. There's a station a couple of blocks from the Hyatt. Last time I took a the train from O'Hare to downtown, it was about a 45-50 minute ride.

Sometimes traffic can be crazy and the cab ride from the airport is an easy $30+ trip. From Midway it is a quick trip to downtown via the orange line. I highly recommend taking the train!

Gracias! I'll look into the train routes. I've been to Chicago once for a job interview but I was picked up by a car service at the airport and stayed downtown the whole time.

I snagged a deal at the Chicago River Hotel (behind Hotel 71). Just now trying to figure if I am adventurous enough to try the trains. I fly into Ohare on the 22nd at 11:20am via UA from Calgary. Anyone else around keen on joining in on the adventure?
