Creating a rich black for printing vs 100% black

Postby PremiumCards » January 27th, 2011, 1:21 pm

Here is an issue we at PremiumCards.net face every day. So many things can't be taught in a classroom. Now, I'm sure there are some schools with teachers that actually know what they're talking about, but not many. Rich Black, it's actually a combination of colors to make a very dark, rich black. Most people *** that using just 100% black will do the job...wrong. Using only 100% black will only make a dark charcoal grey. To achieve a dark rick black use the following. 65% Cyan - 45% Magenta - 45% Yellow - 100% Black. This will help keep your business cards from printing all dull.
