I have yet to begin my undergraduate education, but lately I've developed an interest in User Interface & User Experience Design, as well as Information Architecture. I know this is a "Design forum", but I was wondering if anyone out there is involved in these fields. If so, I have a few questions...
My interests / skills are: organization, communicating information in clear and concise ways, seeing things from different people's perspective (in this case, the User), working with people (I'm very much a "people person"), and creating layouts that organize things in a way that makes things easy to access / use.
From what I have described, am I a good fit for UI, UX, Product Design, or Information Architecture?
Also, what are good undergrad degrees to break into these fields? (I *** Design would be one) Is the job market and career outlook good for these careers? Do I need a Master's in HCI, Information Sciences, etc.?
ANY ADVICE HELPS! THANK YOU!
