Email background issues with Outlook 2007

Hello! It's been a while since I've been in the forums. I'm very much in need of some email blast help, so if there's an advice you can offer me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've designed an email blast with a very light grey background color (not a table background color; an entire email blast background color). It looks fine in basically every email client except for Outlook 2007. Outlook is not showing the background color at all. Any ideas/tips you might have to fix this?
