Hello members of the HOW Coffee Shop Forum!
A bit of transparency right off the bat: I'm not a graphic or web designer...and I don't play one on TV. Having hired a few in my time, I do have the utmost respect for design talent -- which brings me to my introduction of me and why I'm here in your space.
I am in the midst of building an online community dedicated to professionals who work from coffee shops. It's called "The Coffice" and I happen to have met and corresponded with a bunch of graphic and web designers who do just that.
I'm sure there are a few of you here too.
Before I launch the shiny new site -- the ugly duckling version is at http://www.TheCoffice.biz -- I want to have in my possession a cache of pre-written guest blog posts or other types of content from people like you (Cofficers).

I'd like to have posts describing your experiences working from Coffices. I'd like you to talk about your favorite locations, their awesome baristas, managers and owners.
I'd like you to provide your own tips and tricks for HOW you managed to fit a 17" laptop AND a bamboo tablet AND a bucket sized coffee on your tiny round Coffice table.
I want to hear from you traditionalists who still do your storyboarding on foam core and manage to land clients in meetings on comfy couches with tea and a live jazz band.
Send me your Coffice-related drawings (real or virtual), opinions (good AND bad), videos...whatever.[/list]
I'm a stickler for giving credit where credit is due and won't hesitate to give it to you and your submission (proof: http://www.facebook.com/TheCoffice) -- even if it's a plug for your business. Plug away.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly and introduce yourselves at sam@thecoffice.biz and/or @TheCoffice. I like people. And designers are people too...ergo...
Thank you for your time and indulgence. I look forward to hearing from you.

P.S., if you're on other graphic design forums out there and see this exact posting there too, don't feel bad...I really like it and wanted to use it elsewhere.
