Community Christmas Party graphic/logo

Postby Link25design » October 29th, 2008, 4:03 pm

Here is a logo/graphic I did for a community Christmas party at my Church. I had to do it fairly quick. it is a party for anyone in the community who would like to come.

Can you make another version with just a touch of green somewhere? Not too much. It looks very nice!

well.. they told me the color scheme of the party is silver and white so... I think we are straying away from the typical red and green christmas color scheme. It had crossed my mind too though :)

The gradient on the text is no good, why not just make it solid? The gradient on the ribbon isn't very nice either... if you could... avoid using so many gradients..they become distracting and in this case don't really do it much justice. It's a nice base to work from though... just needs some more work.

Yeah I could agree.. especially the lettering now that you mention it, and that ive been away from it a few days... the bow doesnt seem to be too much of an issue to me but I could make it better. Keep in mind this was quick.. and free.. but I love getting feedback on even jobs like this so I can get better and.. quick and free too :)

I will be working with it more this week so Ill will tweak some of that.

I like the second option (final?). I think the gradient on CHRISTMAS needs to be a little smoother. I think the bow looks fine as is. I love the scene in the ornament. Altogether, it came out very nice.
I understand what you mean. You can't really spend too much time on this logo because you probably have paying clients pending. But it came out nice.

Best wishes,

I like fonts, detailing on bulb, colors and everything (keeping in view you have designed in very short time). It's time that I should design a logo for my christmas party. Fingers crossed let see what I will come up with. xx
