New Logo for Graphics Company

Postby jwcarr252 » October 9th, 2012, 6:16 pm

This is a partial prototype of the new logo & site for a small graphics company with a church & small business focus. Any comments or suggestions on the logo?

I think pieces and parts are separated and not consistent yet. For example not sure the red lines are mountain or just abstract form.

Church icon is not withing the design. Good start but needs more work

Given the religious focus of the company and its clients, I'd likely choose a light, airy and uplifting color scheme for the website. I'd be concerned that the black background with red highlights might look a bit more devilish than heavenly.

I agree re the colours - the black and read is very heavy and not "light and uplifting". Aside from that, the white reversed out text is quite hard to read I find. You've kept it simple and straightforward which is good, but yeah, next step should be changing the colours!

I check the site which you share here. You create very nice logo that really looking good. I want to suggest you that you have to change colour to make it more attractive.

A few suggestions: I would remove the black outline on the mountains and change the red to another colour to reflect the spiritual aspect of the company. Try framing the whole thing within a shape to create a logo feel. Simplify the cross to a very basic shape. And last, and most importantly, I would replace the font choice with something sans serif and more classic. Hope this helps
