Cool Print Ads

These cooler than cool ads for Austin-based Amy’s Ice Cream perfectly capture the quirky charm of this unusual ice cream brand. They were designed by Eric Timmerman who is also responsible for the brand’s amazing packaging. The fantastic photos were taken by Eric Morales.

These are not a normal ice cream print advertisements, because this is not a normal ice cream shop. This series highlights the off beat characters that have loyalty to Amy’s Ice Cream as well as personify three popular Amy’s Ice cream flavors.

Amy’s Ice Cream is a boutique ice cream shop with seven locations around Austin, Texas. This campaign has updated and specified their already existent brand. Focusing on their non–conforming side, Amy’s new brand uses sophisticated humor to target the college crowd around town. Ice cream/yogurt shops are moving towards self serve ice cream where the existent employees have less interaction. Amy’s Ice Cream is alive, young, personable and proud to be outside the status quo. Amy’s Ice Cream is “Keeping Ice Cream Cool.” The packaging for this campaign was featured on The Dieline.
