Steamboat Design Camp is summer camp sponsored by the Yampa Valley Design Guild for designers who want to participate in a project to support a non-profit organization. Download an application and send it in by May 14 to be considered.
SDC is a five-day camp for designers that are interested in using their creativity to benefit a Steamboat non-profit organization. Bring your design skills to camp and leave with a solid portfolio piece, a new resume call out, valuable experience in client/designer interaction and great networking and relationship-building opportunities. Coordinated by the Yampa Valley Design Guild, Steamboat Design Camp will be an intense collaborative design experience–from initial meetings to energetic brainstorming to design iterations to the final launch party. It will also be a chance to get inspired, and see firsthand how the designs you do can bring positive change in the very communities we all work and live in. If selected, campers are required to make their own arrangements to get out to Steamboat Springs, CO. The $500 covers lodging, breakfast and lunch. More details can be found on the YVDG.org website and SDC’s facebook page.
