Design Industry News: Thesis Work

Here’s what’s happening in the design industry this week:

Parsons The New School for Design has launched Thesis Work, a new website featuring top student work from across its art and design programs.

Enter your favorite uncoated paper projects in Neenah Paper’s UNshow competition by March 12 for a chance to be featured in HOW magazine. Winners will also receive cash prizes. Best of Show will win $1,000 and a HOW Design Conference Pass.

Sappi Fine Paper North America announced the release of The Standard Vol. 5, Special Effects, a Sappi guide to print that illustrates how design and printing techniques inspire creativity. This Special Effects edition of The Standard showcases how the printed page can offer a more dimensional, tactile and interactive experience for audiences.

Corbis Images launched GreenLight Music, the music industry’s first online sync licensing solution for iconic music. With the support EMI, Universal, Warner and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the online service offers a simple, one-stop solution for creative and marketing professionals to secure usage rights to iconic music for a broad set of uses including websites, corporate videos, tradeshows, sales meetings, live meetings and stage productions.
