Appleton has launched a new specialty digital sheet line of products that includes includes synthetic polyester, paper-film laminate, pressure sensitive and fluorescents. The new digital products are suitable for applications such as menus, ID cards, maps, labels, horticulture tags, manuals, lumber tags, point-of-purchase signage, bumper stickers and shelf talkers, among others.

Sappi recently announced the judging panel for its Ideas That Matter competition, an annual grant program that provides monetary support to produce the creative ideas of designers working for social good. Judges include Rich Hollant, Principal/Design Director at co:lab inc.; Sam Shelton, Principal/Designer, Kinetic; Mariana Amatullo, Vice President, Designmatters Department, Art Center College of Design; Mike Weikert, Partner at Weikert Design;  and Tracy West, Creative Director, 50,000feet. You have until July 20 to enter.

Originally released in 1998 in conjunction with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesen West, the new Eaglefeather Pro Family contains 15 full-featured, OpenType fonts in five weights, plus 20 basic styles.
