The folks at Quark are sponsoring a new contest to recognize killer Flash work created in QuarkXPress 8, and the top prize package includes your favorite design magazine (um, that would be HOW). Beginning today, through June 30, designers can submit their SWF files (such as websites, portfolios and banner ads) to ILoveDesign.com. Voting begins on Sunday, June 6 at the HOW Design Conference—attendees can stop by Quark’s booth during the conference to choose your favorite project; anyone can vote online between June 6–30. Designers do not need to attend the HOW conference to enter the competition or to win, and can submit their Flash projects right up to June 30th deadline.
The designer whose Flash project is chosen tops will be featured here on the HOW Blog and will win a one-year membership to the Design Insider program (subscriptions to both HOW and Print magazines, plus discounts to MyDesignShop.com and other goodies). The top prize package also includes the new PANTONE PLUS Series, a Pantone ColorMunki and a VisTablet.
The winner will be announced during a DesignCast hosted by HOW and Quark on July 7, 2010.
