We’re keen on this project from our colleagues at Print: Prompted by the sucky economy, seismic disasters and a general sense of malaise, they asked a dozen of their favorite designers to create artwork for a cause. Designers and illustrators like Christoph Niemann, Geoff McFetridge and Deanna Cheuk contributed designs for Carry Hope, a series of limited-edition totebags, the sales of which would go to charities of the creatives’ choosing (Cheuk, for example, selected Smile Train, which provides cleft surgery for children in developing countries). The totes (only 25 of each design were produced) are available now from MyDesignShop.com.
