Celebrating typography, letterpress printing and charming music lyrics, this series of prints would look great framed together on a wall.
These are part of Sarah Utter’s recent work at Olympia Community
Print, where she explored the lyrics that influenced her growing up.
Each print is slightly different, and the color of the inks changed with each one.
Smudging and inconsistency are part of the process, and give
them a rich character. Hand inked and letter-pressed on an antique
“Vandercook 14” proofing press using soy-oil based inks.
