National Design Triennial

Next Friday, May 14, opens the fourth National Design Triennial exhibit at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City; it runs through Jan. 9, 2011. Curators Ellen Lupton, Cara McCarty, Matilda McQuaid and Cynthia Smith selected works from a range of design disciplines that address human and environmental issues.

Why Design Now? includes projects in eight themes: energy, mobility, community, materials, prosperity, health, communication and simplicity.
