A Cranky Giveaway: Want to Win This Poster?

Very soon, all of you loyal subscribers out there will find a muscular man holding up the “HOW” on your May 2011 issue’s cover. He melted all of our hearts right from the start.

HOW Poster Giveaway

Win this poster, featured on the May 2011 HOW cover. See Details below.

This cover represents a fun collaboration among HOW, Cranky Pressman (we’re told only one of the two brothers is cranky) and design/illustration duo Parliament of Owls. The Crankies and the Owls, as we endearingly called them, co-collaborated with ease all the way. This project turned out so well that we decided to have a limited-edition run of the poster printed to give away.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Visit either HOWDesign.com or one of our other fabulous blogs:
    www.parse.howdesign.com/
    www.creativefreelancerblog.com
    www.invangelist.wordpress.com/
  2. Pick out your favorite article or blog post from one of the sites listed above.
  3. Within the comment section below, post a link to the article or blog post you select.

We will use a random number generator to pick 10 entrants to receive a limited edition poster, pictured above. When you leave a comment, be sure to include an email address we can use to contact you.

Enter by May 15 for a chance to win! Winners will be contacted by email and announced via the HOW Blog.

I lived this but forgot about it. I did it in 2006 where the theme of my year was “Doing things out of my comfort zone”. I got on stage and did poetry for the first time and don’t regret it. I always wanted to and finally did it along with a number of other things that year. I think I have my theme in mind already.

2011 = If you doubt, don’t!/trust the gut

If I doubt, I won’t! I wont do things to make others happy because it sacrifices my happiness in the end. I will do things I feel strongly about. If I fail then at least I tried. This will spill into design, family, and everyday little decisions just got easier. :) Trust your gut feeling. It is right most of the time.
