I posted yesterday about Adobe’s impending CS5 release and its related sessions and demos at the HOW Conference in Denver.
Turns out, a bunch of other design-industry suppliers and supporters will be demo-ing new products and showcasing interesting stuff in the Resource Center at the Colorado Convention Center. If you’ve been to a HOW Conference before, you’ve probably shipped home pounds and pounds of samples and freebies from exhibitors, and this year, In-HOWse and Creative Freelancer attendees will get to take advantage of that, too.
Here’s what we’re hearing from sponsors that they’ll be doing in Denver:
Gilah Press + Design, a letterpress printing shop, is making its debut at the HOW Conference this year. If you’re looking for a printer for an upcoming project, check out Gilah.
Arjobex will unveil three additions to its line at the HOW Design Conference, including Polyart certified for use on HP Indigo Presses, plus new 15pt cover and new 20pt substrate.
Gruppo Cordenons will show off its new fashion-inspired line of Boutique FSC papers, including three stocks that feel like their namesake fabrics: So…Silk, So…Jeans and So…Wool.
Yupo is bringing the 2010 Wally Awards to the HOW Conference–you’ll see a bunch of cool projects printed on the synthetic paper and get to vote on the top $1,000 prize winner.
Envelopments plans to showcase a new palette of card stocks and papers in matte, metallic, textured and patterned, along with a collection of pocket enclosures, folded cards, envelopes and liners.
Blend Images, which offers multicultural stock photography, will be introducing Boost, a new royalty-free value collection. Images range in size from a 500KB file for $9 to a 48MB file for $99.
Reich Paper will launch its new SAVOY line of 100% pure cotton specialty paper and envelopes that are well-suited to luxury packaging and letterhead.
Creative Edge will feature its collection of digital videos, books and training materials offered on-demand for a monthly subscription.
PicScout will show how its online tool for designers and communications professionals can expedite image search and licensing and eliminate frustration.
