Creative agency Beattie McGuinness Bungay New York (BMB) came up with an interesting promotional campaign for their client Bols Genever, a Dutch spirits brand. Using a specialized handmade process, they’re turning used bottles into drinking glasses.
BMB is taking what would typically be garbage and making these bottles into functionally stunning barware, which begs to be displayed. The end product is a great example of how innovative design can make a difference beyond the original intent of the product. The glasses will be leveraged as selling tools and premiums, with the vision to expand the program to consumers through a mail-in program.
