Every year, in preparation for the HOW Conference, I decide I need a new conference bag. In past years, I’ve usually gone with a messenger bag of some sort (one year it was green and had Curious George on it!). My requirements were that it hold a bottle of water, a laptop, various notebooks and handouts and a few goodies from the resource center.
But this year, I need something a little more specific. I’m looking at cooler back backs that will let me carry around lots of drinks and snacks, as well as an iPad, various notebooks and handouts and a few goodies from the resource center. My current eating plan (if you know me, you know I’m always on one sort of diet or another) requires drinking a least a gallon of water a day with lots of carefully timed, protein rich meals. I know I won’t be able to stick to it 100% during the conference with all the great food in Boston and all the yummy treats at the networking events and parties, but I’d like to make a valiant effort.
I found this Picnic Time Turismo Cooler on Amazon that looks promising, but I’m not sure. Do you have a favorite small cooler you like to travel with? Or do you have an amazing laptop bag that you think other attendees might like? Because if you’ve ever been to a HOW Conference, you know you won’t be able to resists the swag in the resource center and you’ll regret it if you don’t have a place to stash a notebook and pen (and iPad, laptop, phone, etc.).
