I just got an exciting email from The Sketchbook Project, an awesome creativity exercise for any designer. Co-Founder Steven Peterman explains, “For $25, anyone around the world can sign up to get a blank sketchbook that can be filled in any manner they see fit. When they mail it back, we first take it on a tour of the country before installing it in our permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library, which is on one of the most active blocks in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. We have a collection of over 22,000 sketchbooks from artists all over the world. Its an amazing resource for designers. 9,000+ of these books are digitized online and are free to look at.”
The deadline for the The Sketchbook Project 2013 is January 15, 2013, so you still have plenty of time to get a sketchbook and fill it up.
