Well-Designed Music Video

The band Hold Your Horses used costumes, props and sets reminiscent of a decent high school musical to create an artful (literally) video for its song “70 Million.” The clever result is a walk through art history, as band members reenact famous paintings from the likes of Rembrandt, da Vinci, Vermeer, Magritte, Manet, Mondrian, Kahlo, Munch and Picasso. It makes for a fun game of “Know Your Painters” (seeing the male band members as the semi-nude Venus and Olympia is hilarious) … and the music’s a blast, to boot. Test your knowledge and engage your ears with the YouTube video.
