Workspace Column Moves Online

For years, the Workspace column has been a popular article in HOW magazine. This knowledge ultimately came into play when we decided to move this column online in an effort to showcase more design studios. When it comes down to it, designers like to see where their fellow creatives work. Humans are nosy, and designers are no exception. Have you ever showed up at an open house simply because you’ve admired the property for years on your drive home? I like to think that the Workspace column satisfies that same curiosity. Plus, design studios are generally full of personality and visual interest.

The good news is that you’ll be seeing more creative agency interiors showcased at! To get you started, we’ve scoured the Eastern and Western U.S. for drool-worthy workspaces.

New York City-based CBX combines modern details with comfortable, hometown charm. Read more about CBX and four other design studios in the Eastern U.S..

Travel to the West Coast and you’ll find energetic spaces, like Hybrid Design’s San Francisco studio. Read about all 5 Western U.S. Workspaces.

As we gear up to profile more design studios, e-mail me with pictures and tell me what makes your space so special. I’d love to hear from you!

I always looked forward to the Workplace column on How Mag but got disappointed when it was not in the latest issue. I like it that you moved it online but I hope that you will allow for bigger photos and that you can click on each one so we can zoom in. 8-(
