Corporateese: Don’t say it if you mean it.

As much as designers are thrown to be honest, this otherwise admirable trait may not serve them well in the corporate world where bluntness is frowned upon in verbal and written communications. The dysfunctional form of communication that I call “corporateese” that results from this corporate cultural quirk is a a mix of obfuscation and nastiness that should be used only in extreme circumstances. To do otherwise would risk becoming a corporate animal – one of the lower species in the business world.
