Jonathan Cleveland of Cleveland Design in Boston just got interviewed by Wicked Local about the new book that he co-authored with Peleg Top, Designing for the Greater Good. When asked, “What do you hope readers get out of the book?” he said:
This book is important because readers can see that you can do great things if you get the right agencies on board. Nonprofits normally aren’t huge, and they rarely have an advertising budget or marketing staffer. These are award-winning campaigns, and a lot of them were done for free or for a greatly reduced fee. It’s a great book for designers to draw inspiration from and it’s a resource for nonprofits to see what’s out there. Doing one piece for a nonprofit can really affect a lot of people.
