When Steve Jobs stepped down from his CEO post at Apple in August, the responses from people in the tech, media and design communities often read like eulogies. When Jobs passed away yesterday, we all grieved again.
The HOW team has long used Macs to make the magazines, books and websites you love. For many of us on staff, the first computers we ever got to use were Apple IIes. (And, for some of us, the habit of skipping recess in order to use computers in the school library would prove prescient for our later careers.)
