Job: Assistant Professor of Graphic Design & Digital Media at Champlain College

Champlain College seeks an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design & Digital Media in Vermont:

Champlain College’s division of Communication and Creative Media seeks an experienced, dedicated, collegial and team-oriented graphic design educator for an assistant professor position. Responsibilities will include teaching a 4/4 load in both fall and spring semesters, advising undergraduate students, providing out-of-class mentorship for students in both casual and studio settings, participating in divisional and college-wide service activities, engaging in ongoing professional development, and actively participating in refining existing courses and/or developing new courses for a nascent BFA version of our graphic design degree, which began in 1999.

Champlain College’s Division of Communication and Creative Media currently serves approximately 800 undergraduate students and 29 graduate students in cutting-edge programs devoted to Broadcasting and Streaming Media, Communication, Digital Filmmaking, Emergent Media, Game Art and Animation, Game Design, Graphic Design and Digital Media, Professional Writing/Publishing, and Public Relations.
