We recently sat down with web guru Patrick McNeil to talk about his brand new book, The Designer’s Web Handbook. (For those of you who missed it, visit The Designer’s Web Handbook to see the entire virtual book signing for free!) In this design webinar, Patrick explains his book in detail and show you how you can use it to change the way you think about web design. He also offers some important take-away lessons as well.
So as a part of our increasing push to provide interactive design resources we’re giving away a free chapter from that book – Chapter 1: Usability. In it he’ll explain just what traditional designer’s can expect to learn about the realm of web design. He’ll also dive into the importance of usability when designing a website, and how you’ll need to learn more than just writing code to be a good designer.
