While responsive website design—making sure your site renders perfectly on mobile and tablet devices—is all the rage, web designers still have to keep in mind those users who access a site on a desktop computer. And increasingly, those desktop computers have massive screens. I happen to use big screens (several of them, actually) and I really love it when a website design takes advantage of all those extra pixels. Case in point is this beautifully simple site for Suyara. The use of the space doesn’t amount to anything more than a super-sized background image. Designing for a big screen doesn’t have to be complicated; here, a really big and bold graphic fills the space. It also single-handedly gives the page a 100% distinct visual that is easy to remember and helps the site stand out in a beautiful way.
