Job: Design Director at Telegraph Branding

Telegraph Branding seeks a Design Director in Birmingham, AL:

We are Telegraph — a studio of designers, brand strategist and new media experts working with clients throughout the United States and abroad to solve problems, craft products, and launch startups. Looking to add an experienced, articulate, and driven designer/digital expert to our growing team.

The Must-Haves:

  • 3-5 years experience as designer or Art Director at advertising/design shop.
  • Well versed in print, digital, and interactive design.
  • Front-end web design experience.
  • Idea-generator, capable of strategic thinking and big picture ideas.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work on projects from start to finish.
  • Solid portfolio of identity/logo work, print, web design, and branding.
  • Fluency in most of Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • Fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.
  • Good sense of humor.

The Wish List:

  • UI/UX experience, passion for digital trends and cutting-edge interactive skills.
  • Basic to strong understanding of the latest front-end technologies and evolving standards, including HTML5, CSS3 and related Javascript frameworks + proficiency in JQuery and PHP.
