Be warned: If you visit today’s website of the day (and you should) you might suddenly realize you’ve been sucked into the site and you’ve lost the last hour of your life. This is what happened to me. On the surface this website (a social tool for sharing travel photos and planning trips) is remarkably simple. But the depth of content and the presentation and structure of the travel photos is incredible. It’s not so much the look and feel as it is the logic and organization. It literally makes you want to explore. And the home page is such a tease. If the web designers had gone with a boring thumbnail flow of images, it would be far less powerful. The site slowly draws you in until you realize 30 minutes later that you need to get back to work.
