Minimalist Web Site Design

From aesthetic and graphic design perspectives, I love this “Coming Soon” page. It portrays an app in a positive light through appealing colors, strong typography and an effective use of hierarchy.

The simple, minimalist approach peaks my interest, but the page doesn’t reveal what it does. My instinct is to find fault with its lack of communication. After all, the heart of graphic design is communication. On the other hand, there is just enough of a hint here that I can’t help but try to learn what the app is all about. Turns out, I was just one click from finding out.

The question is: Does the mystery work to their benefit or not? I took the time to look into it. What was there spoke to me. So I leave it to you to decide.
