In a time when the web development community has gone nuts over embedding fonts into web pages, it’s interesting to remember that older tactics are still valid. This site plugs its custom typography into images the old-fashioned way. I think it works, and it’s a gentle reminder that in some cases it’s more practical, and even creates a faster user experience, to make an image out of text. The fact that the page packs a mountain of custom type into a small space helps make the case for it.
