I selected this site of the day for both design and concept. The design was easy to pick for asthetic reasons. I love that the large image clearly establishes the topic and just a little bit of text gives you a real tease as to what the website represents. I also like that the main call to action isn’t so in-your-face, yet is easy to find. On the concept side, I love the idea of a device lab that developers from any interactive agency can visit (this one’s in Helsinki, Finland). Collecting devices for user testing is expensive and time-consuming, and sharing them is a great way to help your fellow developers while also furthering your local community.
