Let’s face it, wedding websites are not your everyday, big-agency type of interactive design project. It seems a safe assumption that this niche of sites is rather outside your scope of work. This is exactly what makes it remarkable to me. One of the most powerful ways to find inspiration is to look completely outside your routine market. Over the years, I’ve surveyed a surprising number of matrimonial websites, and this one would easily make my top 10 list of best wedding sites. It’s gorgeously illustrated. It makes practical use of animation. The layout isn’t standard or formulaic. And most important, it’s personal. I love this website—and I think represents trends that we’re seeing more broadly in web design. Take a step into a different world and see what might inspire your work.
